The test field is the company’s premises in Ludwigsburg, and the system primarily relies on artificial intelligence. The artificial intelligence is trained using data.

The test field consists of a customer service hall and forecourt, with the vehicle driving autonomously from the parking space to the lifting platform and back. Mechanics use a tablet to move the car into position.

Tests are designed to prove the feasibility of autonomous driving in the workshop and give Porsche valuable information about using artificial intelligence.
