At the beginning, let me share our timeline and the notices of this tour shortly.

Our tour is an hour-length. We will stay at War Remnants museum for 45 minutes. In the museum, we will watch video of message from Ms.Tao, Museum Director, and outdoor exibits of tanks, helicopters, and Con Dao Island Prison. After this, on live, you will see indoor exibits of war crime committed during Vietnam war, "Agent-Orange", or defoliant, and pictures by a Japanese war photojournalist. You will see these exhibits with panels and our detailed explanation.

After this, we will have an exchange session with Mr. Nguyen Duc. Let me introduce Mr. Nguyen Duc shortly in advance.

Mr. Nguyen Duc, was born with Mr. Nguyen Viet, his twins brother, on February 25th of 1981. Mr. Nguyen Duc and Mr. Nguyen Viet were a pair of cojoint twins with their lower body cojoined. In 1988, group of Vietnamese and Japanese doctors operated on their cojoined body. It took as long as 17 hours and it succeeded so both of the brothers could be successfuly separated, while Mr. Nguyen Viet, elder one, remains bedridden due to encephalopathy he got before operation.

Mr. Nguyen Duc went school for 7 years between 1989 and 1996. Then Mr. Nguyen Duc enrolled to Vocational secondary school and learned PC programming there.

Now, he is working for a hospital as an office worker, and do volunteer work as well. In 2006, He married with Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Tuyen, a Vietnamese woman. They cared of Mr. Nguyen Viet at their home but Mr. Nguyen Viet passed away in 2007.

On October 25th of 2009, they got twins, a boy and a girl. They named a boy Phu Si after Mt.Fuji of Japan, and named a girl Anh Dao after cheery blossoms, a Japanese national flower. Now Mr. Nguyen Duc is a father of two children.

On March 3rd of 2017, Mr.Nguyen Duc got an opportunity to meet with His Majesty the Emperor Emeritus of Japan, Akihito. He once gave a lecture in Hiroshima International University of Japan as a visiting professer.

As above, Mr. Nguyen Duc has played an important role for building friendship between Japan and Vietnam, and peace movement.

Mr. Nguyen Duc worked for a hospital as I said, while he is a member of Japan-Vietnam friendship association affiliated with Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee of Vietnam, a member of foreign affairs committee of Ho Chi Minh City. And he also works as a directer of peace-related activity division of our company.

Recently, Mr. Nguyen Duc donated masks to Japan. As I shared with you so far, he is quite active in various fields.
Thank you for giving your time to me for preliminal explanation. Now we will start the tour of "Vietnam War and Pray for Peace", War Remnants Museum visit and Exchange session with Mr. Nguyen Duc.

First of all, Ms.Tao, a museum director of War Remnants Museum will greet you and talk briefly on War Remnants Museum. After this, we will share video clip of outdoor exhibits.

War remnants museum has enlightened the importance of peace-loving since September 4th of 1975. We are affiliated with Ho Chi Minh City Office Culture and Sports activity.
During our operation of 45 years and more, as many as 23 million people, including Vietnamese and Foreigners, visited us. Today, War Remnants Museum belongs International Network of Museums for Peace (INMP) and International Council of Museums (ICOM).

We, War Remnants Museum has worked for progress of ourselves as a museum for peace without any stop.
