Football is the USA's favorite sport, but in Line of Scrimmage: Mexico Rising, we learn it's a passion equally shared south of the border.

On dusty football fields from Tijuana to Cabo, in football games big and small, from the streets of San Diego to the barrios of Mexico City, we follow the bi-national dreams of football players on both sides of the border. Everything comes together as an American high-school all-star team and the Mexican national Under-19 team square-off in Mexico City stadium. Hanging in the balance is a chance to win a university scholarship or, just maybe, the opportunity to perform under the bright lights of the NFL playing the game they love. American football, a game of conflict bringing nations together.

Kids from all walks of life and both sides of the border strive to learn American football's hallmarks of team-work, perseverance and discipline delivered one crushing tackle at a time.
