EN | The FUSING Culture Experience emerged in 2013 as the first event that proposed to join in the same space Music, Art, Sport and Gastronomy. It intended to be much more than just a music festival. It was assumed to be a unique experience, which would took advantage and simultaneously contribute to a cultural dynamization of the city of Figueira da Foz.

All the programming areas integrated the most diverse art forms, the various urban tendencies and the multiculturality of genres and styles, through a pertinent cultural, transversal and pedagogical program that allowed us to observe a city flooded by small events, showcookings in the Municipal Market, sports activities on the private beach of the site, exhibitions in a roulote, sound talks, breakdance and scratch workshops, etc.

If in the first edition, WOOL's work was highlighted by mural painting interventions spread throughout the city, in the 2nd EDITION of Fusing, MISTAKER MAKER's action was centered in the venue itself, having as its epicenter the creation and programming of the 'Garagem das Artes' (translation: Parking of Arts).

The challenge was to transport and present in the same space, a common car park, a set of activities that reflected the base of the festival, the merge of the 4 areas. Thus, during the 3 days of the festival, the public could got in touch with a total of 23 actions that reflected different aesthetics, expressions, dimensions, arts, media, personalities and careers.

PT | O FUSING Culture Experience surgiu em 2013 como o primeiro evento que propunha juntar num mesmo espaço Música, Arte, Desporto e Gastronomia. Pretendia ser muito mais do um festival de música. Assumia-se como uma experiência única, que tirava partido e simultaneamente contribuía para uma dinamização cultural da cidade da Figueira da Foz.

Todas as áreas de programação integravam as mais diversas formas de arte, as várias tendências urbanas e a multiculturalidade de géneros e estilos, através de uma programação cultural pertinente, transversal e pedagógica, que permitiu observarmos uma cidade inundada por pequenos eventos, showcookings no Mercado Municipal, actividades desportivas na praia privativa do recinto, conversas sonoras, exposições em roulotte, workshops de breakdance e breakdance, etc.

Se na primeira edição, o trabalho do WOOL se destacou por intervenções de pintura mural espalhadas pela cidade, nesta 2º EDIÇÃO do Fusing, a actuação da MISTAKER MAKER centrou-se no próprio recinto, tendo como epicentro a (criação e programação da) ‘Garagem das Artes’.

O desafio foi transportar e apresentar num mesmo espaço, um comum parque de estacionamento, um conjunto de actividades que reflectiam a base do festival, a fusão de 4 áreas. Assim, durante os 3 dias do festival, o público pode entrar em contacto com um total de 23 acções que espelham diferentes estéticas, expressões, dimensões, artes, media, personalidades e carreiras.
