Iranian Regime’s Cover-up of Coronavirus Outbreak Causes Outrage
On Wednesday, Iranian regime officials confirmed 139 cases of coronavirus infection and 19 deaths. The real figures, according locals and international observers, is much higher.
A woman reporting from Tehran on Tuesday said, “The situation is much worse than state media and officials are reporting… Yesterday, we were at the Yaft Abad Hospital. There were 17 deaths in that hospital in just the few hours that I was at that hospital… How can the declare the total deaths in the city to be eight?”
Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the president-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran, called on the World Health Organization to send nurses and doctors to Iran to help contain the coronavirus outbreak.
Sports Federation of Iran Frames Female Ice Climber Champion
The Sports Federation of Iran has framed Iranian female ice climber, Zeinab Kobra Mosavi, forcing her to part with her profession in the championships.
Iranian ice climber Zeinab Kobra Mosavi, the silver medalist at the Asian Championships, is one of the top 10 ice climbers in Iran and the world and is currently known as one of the best ice climbers in the world.
The Iranian ice climber pointed to the obstacles she faced, including her lack of support from the Sports Federation of Iran and its gendered and masculine viewpoints.
UN Urged to Act to Stop Secret Massacre of Detained Protesters in Iran
On the sidelines of the 44th United Nations Human Rights Council session in Geneva, which is being held from February 24 to March 20, five NGOs with the UN consultative status, submitted a joint statement, which was circulated amount UN member states.
