On Friday, February 21st, Heritage Christian School collected over 1,000 food items, including 750 cans, 150 boxes and bags of rice/beans/cereal, and 150 boxes and packets of snacks/crackers. Our elementary, middle and high school students all participated in this food drive last week and other donations came into our gym lobby on Friday at the JV and varsity boys basketball games. All food collected was donated to Healthy Harvest Market. Healthy Harvest Market is a project of Brandywine Creek Farms, a not for profit organization dedicated to fighting hunger in Central Indiana operated by HCS alum Jonathan Lawler.
