Darrow Women's Basketball has been away from the court for mid-winter break for a week and returned with an amazing win to the season. The Lady Ducks hosted the JV squad from Emma Willard in D's house with the final score ending of 63-35. Jabarria had 16 points with 6 steals, Fatoumata had 14 points, 5 rebounds, with 2 assists. Jada had 10 points, a career-high, with two 3-pointers and 2 assists. Fatou added 9 points, including a 3-pointer, and dished out 5 assists. Sakina had 5 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 assists. Abena had an amazing, 4 points and 4 rebounds. Sydney shot a 3-pointer and had an assist, with this game being her first start of the season. Samantha had 2 rebounder points. Kylah helped Darrow with 2 assists and Nailah with 4 rebounds. Overall, Coach Singleton was thrilled with the performance of the Lady Duck's collaborative team and to end the game the "Frosh Five" who consists of Meita, Dachka, Eyram, Nailah and, Samantha worked hard to defend the ball.
