First Things First is a morning sports debate show who wanted to make any sports fan think of them as a fun place to hang. A far stretch for a show who's hosts wear suit and ties. It's hard to make suit & tie guys look fun. The concept was to make these whimsical, illustrative resumes to communicate to the viewer this is a fun place to have coffee and hang. I worked with UK based artist Peter Strain to make illustrations and typography in a tactile printed poster look. Peter supplied me with layered Photoshop files in which we used to animate the package giving it a fun whimsical feel.

This promo never saw the light of day. The EVP of Marketing for FOX Sports wasn't too hip on the idea. Hey! If you can figure out a better way to make guys in suits fun and whimsical....I'm all ears.
