Thank you Heritage community for making our food drive a great success! We collected over 1,000 food items, including 750 cans, 150 boxes and bags of rice, beans and cereal, and 150 boxes and packets of snacks and crackers.

Our elementary, middle and high school students all participated in this food drive last week and other donations came into our gym lobby on Friday and at the boys JV and varsity basketball games.

All food collected will be donated to the Healthy Harvest Market, a project of Brandywine Creek Farms, a not for profit store operated by Jonathan Lawler. Jonathan is a Heritage alumnus and will be featured on Facebook Watch in an episode of Mike Rowe's show "Returning The Favor". Thank you to other Heritage alumni involved including Chris Schwachenwald (the Facebook representative from California) and Heidi Kelly who helped with the Friday night food drive event.
