[TRANSCRIPT]: - The memories of my mother are always, the strongest person I knew, who never felt bad for herself, just thinking about everything she's overcome. My mom had adrenal carcinoma, and I just remember landing 2, 3 in the morning, go spend time at the hospital. Think that was a time where I started to realize what really mattered in life, and what was really important. I got to the point in my life where my father had probably become my best friend. My hero, a person who never quit, and who believed in me when nobody else did. My father had some colon cancer issues. It's lonely, you know, when you lose both your parents. But when it hits you, not once but twice, and it's your mother and your hero, you immediately want to dive in the fight, get on the front line and be somebody that can help. Obviously you need to raise funds, to be able to touch people. The Bounce Back event is a great event. Anybody can do it. People meet here at the Miami Cancer Institute. They walk 14 miles to the arena. And you don't have to be a decathlete, a triathlete, basketball player. You can literally be anybody and it's not a race. It's all for a good cause. It's all for a benefit. So don't feel pressure to be in great shape. Just come out enjoy yourself and be a part of it. If 14 miles is a little too much for you, you can meet at Underline Park from there to the FTX arena. It's a shorter distance, we try to accommodate everybody, no excuses. The funds from Bounce Back go to research, clinical trials, and support services. We gotta do our research out here and get the numbers. Clinical trials, different medications out here, and there are people that are trying and looking for different cures. Cancer support services are yoga and different rehabilitation things that are not necessarily covered. And I think back to the situation that my mom was going through. It was very important for her to have a nice wig. She really wanted to look nice. This kind of steps in and bridges that gap for a woman who wants to look and feel pretty even though she's going through a tough time. It's not just the disease, but the mental aspect of not really looking and feeling like you did. I think people ask me, what you gonna do next? You gonna continue to spend as a leader in the community? Continue to spend as a businessman? And to jump frontline in this fight, wherever there's a need. And there's a need right now to be in this fight. I've been blessed to be in this situation. And I'm still in a community that gave me so much. And we need a cure, you know, we need a cure. Hopefully I can be involved in sparking something that helps find a cure. And until then we gonna continue to touch as many people as possible and keep people in the fight. I need you to Bounce Back from Cancer with me. Join the Heat and you can help find a cure.
