When: Saturday mornings – 10:00 to 11:30 am
Who for: Girls aged 7 to 17 years
Eligibility: Open Session
Cost: £4 per session – pre-booked tickets only

Who should attend?
Girls who are aged between 7 and 17 years and have beginner to moderate football skills should attend the “Leyton Active” Sessions. Developed specifically for girls, the sessions are an opportunity to get fit, make new friends and learn good football skills.

These are drop in sessions and no commitment is required. Aspiring players are able to move from these sessions to the Development and League Teams.

What will happen on the session?
First and foremost – fun, fun and more fun! Players are grouped by age and will enjoy:

20 mins of games
– Bulldog
– Tag
– Ball Steal
– Cops & Robbers
– Capture the Flag
– King/Queen of the ring etc

20 mins of small sided football games
– 1v1
– 2v2
– 3v3

20 mins of speed, balance and coordination c
– individual & team relay races
– ladders, hurdles, hoops and slaloms

20 mins of Ball Mastery
– players are taught specific touches of the ball

What should they wear?
No need to buy any kit. Just make sure they’re in clothes they can run around in and sports shoes/trainers/football boots (preferred). Water must be brought to every session.

Sessions will continue despite the British weather.
