Ted White played football for the University of Oklahoma. He then pursued a stuntman/acting career in Hollywood. In the film "Sands of Iwo Jima" (1949), Ted was approached by the producers, because of his Marine Corps background ask him to consultant for the layout of the island. That was when Ted met John Wayne and began doubling for him in 1952.
Ted White was born January 25, 1926 in Texas. Ted is best known for playing Jason Voorhees in :"Friday the 13th": The Final Chapter. He is also notable for having doubled for Fess Parker, Clark Gable, and Richard Boone and many more actors.
Ted is a "Life Time Member of the Stuntmen's Association of Motion Pictures and Television's.
