George Robotham was born in 1921 and played football at UCLA, where he was awarded a degree in business administration.
George started his acting career as a stuntman and actor in “Batman” in 1943.
From that date, George work in over 160 films and television production's.
Movie stuntman George Robotham has been active in films and television for more than 50 years. If you look fast, you can see him in everything from "Atom Man Vs. Superman" (1950) to "The Goonies" (1985).
George stunt doubled for Rock Hudson, Clark Gable, and John Wayne and many other.
George was probably best known as the
human sacrifice in “The Prodigal”. He also made appearances in historical films such as “Joan of Arc”, “The Robe”, Disney's “The Great Locomotive Chase”, “Spartacus”. and “The Ten Commandments.”
George was one of the original member of the
"Stuntmen's Association of Motion Pictures"
1961.
His son John Robotham, follow George foot steps, as a stuntman/actor and, he is a member of the "Stuntmen's Association of Motion Pictures"
George Robotham pass away on February 1, 2007, in Bonn, Germany at the age of 86. from complications of Alzheimer's disease.
George was married to German actress Karin Dor.
