Compared to the 89-93 models, the R33 came to the market with more power, a beefier platform, and much better driving dynamics. This 1994 GTS25t is for the enthusiast who could care less about owning a garage queen, and more about the aforementioned qualities. Offered with 69K verified miles, the Cloud White (QM1) body is in good shape, but has its fair share of imperfections. The Gracer rear wing and Type M aero have been redone at some point and don't match perfectly. There are also some spider webbing, paint scuffs, and small dings associated with normal use. Touting a couple of expensive go-fast mods, and paired up with a punchy 2.5L turbo and manual gearbox, this R33 gets high marks for its performance to dollar ratio.

The cockpit on the R33 is a massive improvement over the outgoing R32. The materials are better, the ergonomics are like a new car, and they are much more durable. The dash, for instance, is in good shape as are the door cards and headliner. The gray cloth seats are soft to the touch and both rows have been well cared for. This coupe has digital climate control that functions, as well as power windows and locks to make daily driving more convenient. The OEM knob has been replaced with a metal weighted one, and a reduced diameter Italvolanti sports steering wheel replaces the less stylized original. The interior is far from perfect and we have noted the audio system is inoperable, along with some leather wear on the shift boot and scuffed plastics on drivers door. The trim for the key cover on the decklid is also missing, but then again this car is 26 years old. On the positive side, the factory carpet mats are included for the next owner, and the carpet is in above average condition due to this.

The driveline is sublime on this particular car, and it never fails to put a smile on your face when running through the gears. The standard engine is Nissan's legendary RB25DET, a gasoline turbocharged straight-six displacing 4298cc. Startup is quick, and this Type M benefits from a new 12V battery to assist with the ignition, even in the middle of a cold snap. The exhaust is noticeably deeper than the 2.0L engine it replaced, bellowing through an HKS Dragger polished unit. The HKS intake improves breathing and sounds awesome in the cabin, and better cooling efficiency is achieved by the large front mount intercooler. No scheduled service is required for the next three thousand miles, and a new oil and filter service has been performed. Acceleration is brisk up to redline and the coupe has no issues rowing back and forth through the gears. The clutch is quite aggressive and the stock one has been upgraded with an OS Giken design. Power is sent rearward through a Cusco 2 way differential. The handling is flat as a set of HKS adjustable dampers and a Cusco strut tower brace tie the chassis together. The brakes are quick to respond and the steering is properly weighted and delivers plenty of feedback. Two new rear tires have been mounted and balanced on multipiece Gewalt alloy wheels to ensure maximum traction when the throttle is matted!
