Task Breakdown:

Being part of a small team I had the opportunity to be part of a wide range of development stages.

For most of the shots, I was responsible for crafting an interactive in-game experience using the initial story beats and fleshing out the layout of the shot’s environment, player, characters and interaction with the environment.

Worked closely with the narrative team during the cinematic pre-visualization process assisting with 3D previs and integrating the scenes in the anim engine while monitoring and troubleshooting.
Preparing asset breakdowns to list out the assets, asset measurements required for the shots.
Planning mocap rehearsals for timing and assets for final mocap shoots.
Assembling and preparing cinematic scenes and assets required for the shots.
Creating gameplay assets and maintaining lists of animations.
Assembling, editing, cleaning up and extensive enhancing of complex motion capture data including body and face to achieve high-quality aesthetics.
Hitting the required animation notes also needed a lot of keyframe animation work on characters.
Keyframe animation for props required for the shots.
Worked with the technical art and programming teams to ensure animation pipeline, rigs and tools are effective and bugfree.
