Welcome to everyone! We will get started at about 2min past the hour. We will record this meeting. I will also host follow-up sessions, as needed, for additional questions that may not be addressed today.

United Ways and Agencies will submit the Raz Activation form for each learning site

Irene Garcia and Reid will be the main contact for the activation form! The new form is on the Vello Portal!

1 License activation is sent straight to that single teacher
If multiple licenses, a single teacher or admin will be sent an activation email. Barbara will roster all of the teachers for you. Teachers will receive an email saying they can get started!

Raz-Plus is both the e-books kids read while working with their Vello volunteer AND its a hub for student and teacher literacy resources. It goes beyond just time with a Vello volunteer. It is meant to infuse classrooms with even more literacy tools.

Budget 10-15 min to roster ALL students. Not just Vello tutored students. Set their Levels! And be sure to adjust levels as students grow throughout the year.

Placement Test can be used if a teacher or learning site doesn’t have a current reading level. The tool will help students do a diagnostic and place their entry level

Teachers can adjust levels, toggle incentives on/off, group students based on levels or reading groups or who is a Vello tutored students, and teachers can adjust the look and feel of the student interface.
