This is was just something I've experimented with throughout the first half of 2019 as a side project, while also being my first attempt at working with Unity.
The playable character, based on a prehistoric crocodile named Kaprosuchus, was modelled in 3ds max & Mudbox, rigged with CAT and then cached & exported to Unity. I got as far as creating different idle animations as well as controllable behaviors allowing walking, running & jumping.
The next stage was (as indicated by the lake) was to develop behaviors for swimming & diving; however the time needed for the creation of animations & their implementation would keep growing, while my free time would dwindle rapidly due to regular work commitments and I had to put it aside.

Nevertheless the experience gave me some great of insight into Unity while learning, and with enough time at hand I might want to get back to experimenting with some game-related content; perhaps even something more fleshed out & with a small team next time? Who knows...

The basic hookup for this was a personal game concept where, set in a North American nature reserve, you're playing a prehistoric monster who's thrust into modern society (B-movie-style) and ends up terrorizing civilization across different levels or episodes, effectively steering the narrative of your very own B-movie, with some branching options based on your actions.
To create a game of that scope would however require a full-time commitment and a small dedicated team to work on this one, which is currently not possible.
