To bring Space Drive into series production, we use motorsport as a testing platform for our technology carriers. This platform has always been considered a development accelerator for bringing innovative and promising technologies to the road and under the toughest conditions. This also applies to the Space Drive steer-by-wire system, born out of mobility for the disabled and now a key technology for autonomous driving. We have already been developing it in the #GTCRace since 2019. Since this year, the electronic steering system #SpaceDrive, which requires no mechanical connection between the steering unit and the steering gear, is an integral part of the regulations in the #DTM.Three cars, three manufacturers: #BMW from #ROWERACING, #Mercedes-AMG from #MueckeMotorsport and #Audi from #TeamAbt are equipped with this system. Three drivers #TimoGlock, #MaxiBuhk and #SophiaFlörsch sit as development drivers in the SpaceDrive cockpit and drive for the next generation steering #fromtracktoroad.
