In this short film (aimed at health and social care professionals) Megan Snedden (Campaigns, Policy and Research Officer, Stonewall Scotland) shares information on some of the key issues affecting LGBT people in relation to death, dying and bereavement and outlines how health and social care professionals can best support LGBT people at this point in their life. This is an overview of a workshop session that she facilitated at the inaugural NHS Education for Scotland Bereavement Conference ‘Starting with the end in mind; A realistic approach to bereavement and resilience’ on 11 November 2019.
