At the end of 2015, Tungsten approached me to work on a twofold project for the science museum Continuum in Kerkrade.
In the Earth experience, we rise high above the surface of the earth to view our equally majestic and vulnerable home planet from the International Space Station (ISS).
The 360-degree film for the Columbus Theater has the visitor looking down from two rings on a round projection surface of twenty meters in diameter.
The render wrangling of this multi-pass project was quite a challenge as we needed to deliver an 8K square resolution.
For this project, I work mainly focused on animated a believable astronaut floating in space.
