In February 2021 a group of cyclist will ride from Pontdrift to Cape Town over twelve days, covering a total distance of 2090km. The group will cover an average of 180km a day.
This ride is raising awareness of the Foundation and all funds raised will go towards the Foundation's education programme.
The Thomson Smillie Foundation's educational programme focuses on empowering local South African children from disadvantaged backgrounds. The programme allows these children a proper start to life by providing funds for education for these children.
All funds raised through this tour, and with your help, will be used to fund as many children's educational programmes as we can!
The cycle challenge will finish at Fish Hoek High School and a presentation of a portion of the funds raised will be made to a representative of the school.
