Last year 8 community-based organizations received a grant through the Central Valley Community Foundation's CORE Initiative that was funded through The James Irvine Foundation. #ThisDayFresno follows these organizations & the work they are doing to improve their respective neighborhoods.

A Hopeful Encounter helps create learning environments and building schools to initiate partnerships for growth and improvement. They help nurture and promote leadership skills in their young leaders and professionals through voluntarism and international mentoring.
