In February 2020, the Jamii team traveled to Pikangikum First Nation in Northern Ontario.
Jamii partnered with the Pikangikum Education Authority and Eenchokay Birchstick School to invite people to create a portrait of fellow community members.
We created 18 portraits, involving 36 people in the project.
This initiative was supported by the Canada Council for the Arts and the Ontario Arts Council.
