This video was inspired by my trip to South Africa last year on a school exchange. Whilst there I was overwhelmed by the students we met and their constant optimism in the face of adversity, their love for education, and their determination for a better life and thus. A brighter future.

I wanted this video to show the insatiable highs and the depressing lows of the trip, to convey what life is like on the daily for those living there. To ultimately show resilience and how inspirational their working for a brighter future is.

all footage was shot and edited by me with interviews coming from:
former pupils from my school who also went on the trip,
the headmaster of Ogwini
and the my partner/buddy from Ogwini throughout the trip
