Royd currently has the NAACE ICT mark that celebrates good use of technology to support teaching, learning and school administration. As part of our exciting ICT curriculum the children are currently taking part in animation lessons. The children have to make a storyboard and create a background before then making their very own Wallace and Gromit style films. In Reception the children work in small groups where they have to move the characters, click the frames or edit the films in order to make a whole class film. When the children enter Year 1 and Year 2 the children make their own films in groups of three using their own storylines. Unfortunately we can't upload all of the films but we thought that you would like to see one of the films made by some of the Reception children. We wonder if you can guess what the story is?
