My name is Nastassja Nicolet, I am 26 years old and I am a native English speaker. I live in Johannesburg, South Africa and I have both Swiss and South African nationality. I studied Fine Arts for 4 years at the University of Pretoria in English and then I received my TEFL/TESOL certificate for teaching English as a foreign or second language from the International TEFL Organization.

I have 6 years of experience teaching English and Art to young kids in primary school as well as several one on one English tutor classes. I have taught groups of up to 15 primary school children for 4 years, 1 year of which I was Creative Director leading the creative team for over 400 children. I help my younger sibling with English all the time. I have also assisted adults at university level with their academic English for 5 years. I have experience in art and creative teaching methods.

I teach grammar, pronunciation, vocab, fluency, idioms and conversational skills. Students benefit from my teaching as I can help them speak like a native speaker. Learning a new language can be difficult and scary, but I build a study plan that works for my students and helps them in the best way. Learn by looking, listening, & speaking. Through kind evaluation, positive feedback, a step by step approach, hard work, and creativity, they can learn English. I teach online because my classes can be more flexible and I can spend more time with my students.
