Join Dr. Matt Farber as he explains how your students can use game design to demonstrate their learning, while enhancing their creativity and problem-solving skills. He will explore how game jams combine all modes of STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math), while students work together as a team, identifying and contributing their own strengths. Matt will showcase a variety of activities in a lesson plan format that you can use or adapt for your classroom. He will also make available a free Game Jam Guide that features over 20 lessons and activities that can be used to help students learn about real-world issues.
