Native Daily Network is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit. We are an indigenous-led organization.

This video is from some of our work between March 2019 and March 2020.

Our primary focus is and will always be protecting the environment. In Lakota, we call our home Unci Maka, which means Grandmother Earth. Our way of life is such that we live in appreciation that she provides for us and we believe it is our sacred trust that we act as caregivers to her. We also say 'Mitakuye Oyasin' which means, roughly, 'We are all related.' We thrive in the understanding of our relationship to all things. From the smallest amoeba to the largest whale. All as relevant as each other.

Native Daily Network promotes personal growth and development for Native Americans through the following programs.

MEDIA

NDN participates, documents and provides education and media on environmental, cultural and social justice issues affecting indigenous people and communities.

NDN develops and trains indigenous youth in media and activism. Our media and activism training covers reporting, organizing, and production.

We believe that indigenous stories should be told first hand. We believe in supporting the talents and dreams of indigenous people all over the world. We serve as an authentic voice of environmental activism and indigenous advocacy. Our goal is to show the stories that are happening from an indigenous perspective while also bridging the gap between cultures as we share the experiences and deeds of allies and activists from across the globe.
