John Dyson is an artist and filmmaker who took the Producing and Developing the Documentary Classes at Chicago Filmmakers in preparation for a new documentary project he is working on about the Swedish pop group Abba. In John’s art practice, he is exploring society’s collective nostalgia for technology through repurposing footage from Gameboy cameras.
