Nature, human nature included, is an organism. Your cells make up your tissue, your tissue your organs, your organs create organisms, populations communities which create ecosystems that all together create the biosphere.

If we see ourselves as isolated, or separate from the rest of the world, each one of us will make decisions based primarily on individual gain.This leads to miscommunication, conflict, exploitation privilege, discrimination and division - in a community, in a city, country or world.

Sim-biocene is a simulation of a symbiotic relationship between human, nature and technology. Together, they create one larger organism. An organism that does not put human above nature or technology above human. Where each cell plays a vital role in sustaining the system.

In order to refuse our destructive nature, we need to reimagine a way of existing in harmony without hierarchy with our technological and organic collaborators, and remember we are influenced by and influencing more than we can see.

Technology acts as the mediator between human body, and environment creating a space that encourages human intuition and enables an unprecedented range of experiences. By sensing the changes in the electromagnetic fields around them, each node of this social network responds to the presence of human and non human matter.

Through audience participation it is illustrated and experienced that, 'body' and network, inside and outside, self and other, are constantly in communication with each other. They are able to experience and feel the effect of their presence, and of those who came before them.

Everything and everyone becomes is active participant, and it is through the immersive experience of this in the Sim-biocene, that a curiosity and conversation is created, which will deflate our desire for domination and individual progress, and offer an entirely new perspective on humans and their relationship to each other, and to matter itself.
