This was my 4th and last lesson with Mirella, my first student. It has been a learning experience that I have grown from. Through this experience I have taught her as well as teach myself.
I have thought her, the history of ASL, I have helped her gain passion within the subject and encouraged her to learn some fundamental signs that could make her and someone else's life that much easier. By knowing how to ask someone if they need help, she could make a difference in someone else's life.
From these lessons I have learned some signs myself and I have challenged myself to deepen my understanding of these signs. Meaning that by the end of the experience, I too was intrigued to find out more.
I am looking forward to more teaching and learning!
