Shine presents JuiceBox 3.0: A portable, durable, Made-in-USA solar microgrid for use by natural disaster victims, homeless families, refugees, and off-grid healthcare workers.
The size of a laptop, JuiceBox 3.0 easily fits in a backpack and is a far more cost-effective, easily transported, low-maintenance alternative to gasoline generators often used to bring light and electricity to these vulnerable populations. JuiceBox is perfect for individuals, families, and small communities in need of emergency power at a small scale. JuiceBox 3.0 is being developed by Shine, a public benefit company led by undergraduate students from the Claremont Colleges outside Los Angeles, CA. More at http://shinewithus.org
