Script for Basic Human Encounter is written and developed by two human brains in the year 2019. It was created during a course on Design Fiction at Kunstuniversität Linz. It is a time capsule, made for a recipient in the future.
A script can be an instruciton, a description of any kind, a sequence of orders or a screen play. The term script also occurs in engineering and programming language. Script for Basic Human Encounter is a motivational tool. A simple guide for the reader to reach out and create personal contact with others.
In the year 2019 we increasingly isolate ourselves from our environment and fellow human beings through technology. At the same time empathy gets overshadowed by recent ideologies and many problems result from a lack of understanding of ohter's point of views.
In a playful way, this script encourages contact between individuals. It aims to sharpen the view towards yourself and encourages you to reflect on your life and the lives around you. The pocketsize script can be taken away or applied immediately.
