PNW Protectors is making a short film de-bunking the theory that seals are the culprits of the salmon shortage in the Salish Sea. Politicians, lobbyist, and WDFW are refusing to listen to the science showing the culling of seals would actually further reduce the population of salmon, which means not only would the Southern Resident Orcas (salmon eating) suffer, but also the Transient Orcas (mammal eating) would start losing its food supply. Unfortunately, we have discovered politicians don't listen to scientists, they listen to the people. This is why it is so imperative to create this short film and get it out to the public as soon as possible. Everything is in place from underwater, to on the water, to drone footage, to professional editors, to the top scientists interviews.
