Over the last five years there has been an increasing demand from industry professionals for Satcom Direct’s aeroIT certification. Here Jason Rigby, SD's Director of Training, discusses the advantages of the program as it celebrates its 1000th delegate.

The aeroIT certification is an information technology certification for the configuration and troubleshooting of networks and satcom systems onboard an aircraft. These courses are offered monthly at Satcom Direct and are available through partnerships with Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and Flight Safety International. The aeroIT training course is approved for eight FAA Inspection Authorization (IA) credits.
