YPL celebrates the work of passionate, engaged young poets, writers, and activists who are using their art to advocate for issues close to their heart. The YPL cohort takes part in workshops and readings throughout the year, and one winner is selected for a year-long mentorship that culminates in a published poetry collection with Poetry Northwest Editions.
