Rotterdam, city of architecture. Rotterdam Architecture Month (RA Month) is a joint initiative by AIR, Architecture Institute Rotterdam, Rotterdam Festivals and Rotterdam Partners to show all the innovative architecture and how architects design opportunities tackling societal issues and the major challenges facing us. In collaboration with various partners from the architecture sector, in and around Rotterdam, they started the joint architecture calendar. RA Month is a website, a campaign, an exhibition and joint architecture calendar by initiators and partners with events throughout the city of Rotterdam. Every year in June, the public can experience how architects work and think about the city of tomorrow through the various activities of RA Month, such as exhibitions, lectures, debates, and tours.
In 2021, the partners include: OMI, Post-war Reconstruction Community Rotterdam, Rotterdam Rooftop Days, Urban Guides, Independent School for the City, Municipality of Rotterdam, Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences, Eindhoven University of Technology, Rotterdam Academy of Architecture and Urban Design, Rotterdam Library and many design bureaus.
