Hi my name is Leah Williamson, I was raised in a small town in NC called Elizabeth City. I moved to WV where I have lived now for 11 years. I have been married now for 18 years and we have 6 children. Years ago I remember seeing sign language for the first time and wanting to learn more I enrolled in a few classes. I continued my education and became a teacher but have always missed signing. Eventually I enrolled in an ITP program and met one of my best friends Jennifer Weatherholt. We finished the ITP program and decided to continue our education. We enrolled at WWU for our Bachelors which is where we are now. After I am finished I want to continue my education for my Masters. When that is finished I have 2 career goals to focus on. The first is working in VRS where I feel like I would learn a lot. The section is working with people who are deaf/blind. This really is my dream job. Thanks for watching!
