Here is the first take on the newest promo video for Reckoning, a 3D Science Fiction Comic book series that can be read by the blind / visually impaired.

The project not just sports 3D printable models virtually of everything you can see in the comic, it involves 3D graphics, Motion Capture, immersible 3D panels for each panel on every page, inside which people can zoom and pan around in the comic book using haptic technology over the internet enabling readers to explore all the comic book panels.

A special edition of the comic will be made using vacuum forming and 3D printing techniques, enabling tactile fedback needed for a visually impaired / blind person to read and experience the book on their own terms in their everyday environment without any further technical equipment.
