We were tasked to make any kind of VFX shot with at least an advanced technique in our shot within 2 weeks. Being always fascinated with space scenes and how they did it, I tried doing one myself. I knew I couldn't make any asset that I needed for the shot but I knew what I needed. The spaceship, spacestation and kitbash were all downloaded online. The planet was done by using the ORB plugin by VideoCopilot in AE. I had to do a simple camera extension too and it was my first time doing it. There wasn't much online to research on it so I had to kinda figure it out myself with the help of some of my lecturers. Texturing, Lighting and Compositing were my responsibilites.
