Captions: “Hi! My name’s D’Anne. um, I guess a play memory that I can think of right now, at the top of my head was when my little brother, um, we...he used to play army man. Um. We had a really big backyard and, like, me and my older siblings liked staying inside because we got to that point in our lives where we were just like, “it’s too hot, there’s mosquitoes and stuff.” So, my little brother would find a little piece of, um, wood, like ply wood, like about this big and he’s use it as a walkie-talkie and army crawl around the, uh, front yard. Me and my sister would kind of watch because it’s really funny. Um, so yeah, that’s what I remember. Um, why I’m taking this class is because 1. it’s a major requirement. I’m studying Child Development with a Pre-OT Track and so, um, really kind of excited to get to know what it really means with, like, play and got it influences us. Um, but also I’ve heard this class is really fun and so I’m really excited, um, to take this class. And also, I...I’m really excited to learn neuroscience and the deprivation of play and, like that chapter we’re gonna cover because I really love learning how things work and how we develop. Why I’m studying Child Development. And so, yeah, I’m really excited about that, to see how it kind of affects our brain and therefore affects our development and stuff like that. So, yeah, um...Bye!”
