In Adaptable Auxetics, Pi Lab (an initiative by Fillip Studios) researches the characteristics of randomly generated auxetic patterns and its possible applications in healthcare and architecture, as well as in art and design.

Pi Lab is a lab in which artists, scientists and engineers jointly research the new creative and innovative possibilities within mathematics and physics. This group is based on the University of Technology Campus Eindhoven. In the coming years, Pi Lab's research will lead to new works of art, new scientific knowledge and innovative applications.
