Vouchers for free rolls of blue bags follow Phil-Up, Richardson’s recycling mascot, wherever he goes. His latest stop was at the Library where children and their parents met the mascot while learning about the importance of recycling. Promotional material including coloring books, sunglasses for kids and recycling magnets were some of the items handed out at the event. Phil-Up the blue bag will be back at the Richardson Public Library Thursday, June 27th from 1 p.m.-2:30 p.m. Visit cor.net/recycling for information on the City’s Recycling Program and to see a Phil-Up’s monthly schedule of events.
