The CRISM instrument onboard MRO has detected minerals (often called “phyllosilicates”, which include clays) along a depression on the wall of this impact crater, so our image can find if there’s any relationship between that and the surrounding chaotic terrain in Margaritifer Terra. (Less than 5 km across. Sound added for effect.)
