Tangent is a Gensler speaker series where we invite thought leaders tangential to design to go on tangents on how they might inspire us.
Alex is a VP at ideas42 and Entrepreneur in Residence at their budding Venture Studio where he is building a mobile product for returning citizens and those under community supervision called Vergil. The application is designed to help individuals navigate the social services context to achieve long term goals that reduce recidivism and improve livelihood outcomes. Prior to starting Vergil, Alex led projects at ideas42 in a variety of areas including cybersecurity, financial technology, public safety, and agricultural development. Alex received his BA in Political Science from Brown University and an MSc in Food Policy and Applied Nutrition Science from Tufts University.
