Ollie Dook is one of six artist filmmakers who have been on The FLAMIN Fellowship (2020-2021), a year-long programme offering development funding, mentoring and support to early-career moving image artists based in England.

We caught up with Ollie to talk about his work with 2D and 3D animation, the emotional history of Jumbo the elephant and his recent explorations into the relationship between memory, technology and mental health. He also gave his account of being on The FLAMIN Fellowship, and gave some useful advice to those planning to apply.
