The Ocean Kids event is a powerful day of service, connection, and discovery. The overarching goals of the program are to engage under-resourced and potentially at-risk students in the conservation movement, show them that learning S.T.E.M. can be fun, establish a foundation of knowledge and stewardship they can foster for years to come, improve their engagement and performance in the classroom, and empower and inspire them to go to college by creating a strong sense of belonging and inclusion at a college campus.
