N*GEN promotes a culture of holistic learning and comprises of STEM (disciplines of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) educational segments produced in-house and crowd-sourced curricula in the form of short lessons from teachers across Africa. N*GEN strives to:
• Foster a culture of curiosity and discovery
• Model new ways of approaching learning
• Promote positive gender norms (i.e. dispel the myth of science being a “boys’” domain)
• Show connectedness among disciplines and implications of “classroom” knowledge for practical life
• Help families stay safe during the pandemic
