The concept is a great idea but the 6 hours is way too much! It'll drench the entire desk. I put mine on twice a week for about 20-30 minutes while I'm home. Does the job perfectly and is fascinating to watch. Definitely don't put any technology any where near it! Better suited to a stone kitchen bench top then a bedroom desk as the green light stays on 24/7.
