Sport 3 155, 2/16/2020. Loop followed by wingover and spin initiation. It got slow-feeling at the top of the loop and I pulled my weight toward the basetube a little bit and it flew through the apex and recovered smoothly. Might have yawed a little near the top. Decided, at the last second, to leave the old Hero2 video camera off the keel and just go flying. Dangit.
Years ago I was learning to do wingovers and kept getting more bank on them than I wanted to with my HP AT 158. One time while trying to get just 10 degrees or so I got 0 degrees. I've thought "I'm gonna loop it this time!" during plenty of dives but I always give it some roll to make it a wingover. Mostly because I'm flying someone else's glider and a failed loop would suck for more than just me.
